Solar Panel Bird Proofing & Protection
At Northern Solar, we provide high-grade bird proofing and pest protection solutions for solar PV systems across the North West. Nesting birds — particularly pigeons — love the warmth and shelter beneath solar panels, which can quickly lead to damaged wiring, clogged gutters, and dropped system efficiency. Our experienced engineers fit durable, non-invasive protection barriers that keep birds out without damaging your panels or invalidating manufacturer warranties.
Bird Proofing Services
Premium Mesh Installation
We fit weather-resistant, galvanized mesh barriers around the perimeter of your solar array. Specially clipped into place without drilling, it creates an impenetrable barrier against birds while preserving your panel warranty.
Under-Panel Cleaning & Sanitization
Before sealing your array, our team clears out existing nests, debris, and droppings. We thoroughly clean and sanitize the area beneath and around your panels to restore proper drainage and hygiene.
Fault Diagnosis & Cable Repair
Pigeons frequently peck at exposed wiring and temperature sensors. While on-site, our engineers conduct a full inspection of your DC cabling and components, repairing any damage caused by nesting pests.
