​The Main Contractor, Crown House, wishing to employ a local company contacted Northern Solar to install a PV system on the newly constructed World renowned Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

 

A 50 kwp ballasted console system was required across two roofs.

​

            Alder Hey Site was an extremely busy site with

numerous contractors all carrying out work at the same time over a fairly small site area, Northern Solar being a local company were able to attend site at very short notice and fit certain installation stages around several other contractors.

 

The Main challenge was the uneven surface of the roofs because of the chosen surfacing materials, therefore a console system was decided upon which enables any unevenness to be absorbed in the flexible consoles.

Annual Generation – 42,150KWh’s
