Therefore we are pleased to announce that we now offer a Battery Storage Installation service, this can either be connected to your existing PV system or if you are looking to enter the renewable way of life the installation of a complete PV and Battery Storage System.
Northern Solar Ltd. has been established and helping customers since 2006 and we now feel that the battery storage technology has improved efficiently enough and the price has reduced sufficiently to be able to offer these products, and with energy prices rising year on year we want to help to significantly reduce the energy bills of all our previous and new customers.

Using a Battery Storage System, you can store the surplus energy not used throughout the day to use in the evening when your PV system is not generating, thereby helping to save on your electricity bills and get the most out of your PV system.

What We Offer
We can now offer you a Battery Storage System including Sigen, Huawei and Growatt systems, supplied and installed, that is compatible with your existing or new PV system.

SMA Sunny Boy 2.5 Battery Inverter BYD Battery Storage Units
For example, if your home has a 3kWp Solar PV system installed, we would use 5 x BYD 1.28kWh Battery Storage units and a SMA Sunny Boy 2.5 Battery inverter, as shown in the images above. This would provide you with 6.4kWh or 6400 Watt Hours of electrical energy that then can be used of an evening when your PV system isn’t generating enough to match your household needs.
